Wow...what a gorgeous day. It is 65 degrees and sunny and just perfect summer weather. There is a nice breeze and people everywhere are outside "doing" -- if it can be done outside, Alaskans everywhere are doing it, basking in the sunshine. We aren't guaranteed how long the nice weather will last (and after last summer, if we'll get it back once it turns cold and rainy), so each day someone is feverishly working on a project so they won't regret it if it rains until September. :)
Weston and I went to town to get groceries, go to a curriculum sale at the homeschool office, and show the trailer that we are selling. It was a good day and I got some ideas for Linnaea's birthday stuff (next Friday she'll be 6), so that was fun too.
Don and Dad are working on the addition as much as they can. Today, they are finishing the rubber sheeting protection on the deck (this will be the ceiling/roof of our new living room, kitchen, dining room). Don gets off work at 11:30, comes home and eats some lunch, and then gets to work helping Dad. The guys come in for supper and then Don heads off to bed to get sleep so he can be to work by 3:00 a.m. Dad is trying to get as much done as he can before he leaves for his "sabbatical up North", so I'm trying to keep kiddos out of the guys' way and once in a while handing tools to them or running errands.

Hi Alicia!
I've been enjoying your blog too! How do get the pictures to all be on one entry? I can only figure out how to do a separate posting for each one. Thanks for the invite....but the ladies' night out for our church is that night and we're making dinners for a momma who is about to have baby #3 (she has a 4yr old and a 2yr old).
