Visits!

We had a lot of fun this summer with visits from friends and family! In June, "Uncle" Brent came and then went on the youth canoe trip with us and afterward his Mom (Nancy) got to come up and hang out with us too! It was tough to see him go back to MI, since we had gotten to see him during some of the other school breaks while he taught here in AK during the year. Thanks, Brent for hangin' with us, singing at church, cooking for us, and letting Trigger show Toby how to behave. :)

It was sooooo much fun to be in on the surprise with Aunt Jan to shock the children yet again!!!!! I was quite sceptacle about pulling this one off, but they really didn't know it was coming even while we were running through the hallway at the airport. We love it when you come and can't wait until the day comes when we get to help surprise some California relatives with our own visit......some day!!!! Thank you for making us laugh and for spoiling us AGAIN. :) We are now trying to see who can laugh the most like you...how fun! We miss you and love you!

Ah, Ginger - my Montana Mom.....thank you so very much for coming up here and thank you, Steve, for letting her come! We had so much fun and I especially liked getting you "all to myself" in Whittier and Anchorage!!! You are such a huge blessing to me and my family....it was so good to spend time with you after all these years!! We love ya, Nana!

So y'all have an open invitation! Come on up and hang out with us! We can't guarantee perfect weather or perfectly behaved children, but we can tell ya that we eat pretty well and laugh a lot. :)
