piles today! They have been there for a few months now (ever since we had the area cleared for the trailer that we didn't end up moving here), but didn't get explored until today! He had a blast throwing dirt clods and whacking stuff with a big stick. Oh to be so carefree and enjoy simple treasures like dirt mounds and big sticks!!Please pray for my Dad. He has his cancer surgery on Monday morning in Anchorage. He was told by the surgeon that he'll need to spend 3 or 4 days in the hospital and as soon as he is up and recovering well, they want to do a thorough check of his colon. There was a shadow on it last May when he had his last colonoscopy, but the doctor that he had at the time overlooked it. His surgeon caught it a few days ago in the results from his CT scan, so we'll see what's going on there. Mom, Weston, and I will be going to the "big city" to stock up on supplies while Dad's in the hospital. Thank you for your prayers for the hands of the surgeon, quick recovery, no cancer in the colon, and safety on the roads!

Wow! What a long road for your Dad. We will pray for him together. I can't even imagine all that is going through his head and heart. What a comfort to have our Saviour in times like these!
I'll be praying for my Uncle Norm's surgery to go smoothly, and for NO cancer anywhere else in his body!!!
