We pulled it off! Jan surprised the kiddos with a visit from California! Granny and I went up to Anchorage to pick her up from the airport and covered her with a blanket when we got near the driveway. We called the kiddos and asked them to help us unload the van (we had gotten groceries and Wal-mart stuff too), and ...
they opened the door to the van seeing a blanket covering something up. She popped out of the blanket and said "Hi!"....
It was great to see the looks on the kids faces! The pictures just show a little taste of it, but it so fun to surprise them....
