Motivation for the Trip...

 
 
 
To make sure that Weston met his Grandpa Dohse before any more time went by, we basically planned the trip with that as the main motivator. It was also convenient that both of the men that gave Weston his middle name (Wayne) live in the same area. So, with those factors in mind, we began to try to figure out how it could all happen. Some friends of ours in Wisconsin graciously allowed us to stay at their house for the week and a half we were there! Jeffrey Wayne (Don's brother) and "Uncle" Wayne were both excited to meet Weston and Don's Dad seemed pretty happy to meet him too! :) Within about a 3 week time frame, we had tickets and were planning our trip to see family and friends that we hadn't seen in a while. We decided that Don would stay for the visiting in Wisconsin and then fly back home while I took the kiddos to Northern Wisconsin and Northern Michigan to see more family and friends. Wow...what a bunch of great memories we have to carry us through the winter ahead!
