She's Gonna be a Great Mom Someday!

Watching Linnaea with her "baby" is so fun. She got this baby doll almost 5 years ago when Weston was born. The girls were so young (3 and 4 years old), that we purchased these babies so they would be able to participate on their own level. Sadly, the girls don't remember holding baby Weston and loving on him when he was so tiny, but they still enjoy these babies. Once in a while, I'll pick up a newborn outfit at the thrift store and bring it home and Linnaea gets so excited. She has a few of Weston's outfits from his baby days and even an outfit or two from her own baby days. The girls asked a few months ago if we would consider the possibility of going into foster care so they could help the babies. It's something to pray about and if nothing else, the girls will be in their glory at church with 2 new babies coming soon. :) Reminds me of a family that was in our church in Michigan when my girls were little. They had 3 daughters (I think they were 7, 9, and 11 at the time) that were all loving on my girls constantly. It was such a relief to get to church and know that they were well taken care of and watched over while I was able to enjoy conversations and Bible studies and stuff. Thank you, Emily, Carrie, and Amy!!

My 2 year old is heading towards this too, she just goes crazy over her baby dolls. What a great thing, and I like the foster care idea too!!
