We had the amazing privilege to go on a cool field trip with our homeschool group last week! We rode the Alaska Railroad train and then went on a hike to get up close to the Spencer Glacier.
Weston was thrilled to be on a train!!
It was too bad that Daddy couldn't go because he would have really enjoyed it (and there were quite a few Dads that came on the trip), but this is truly an Alaska picture, so it makes a great profile pic. There were over a hundred people from our homeschooling group that went!
Garratt's highlight was being able to slurp down this chunk of glacier! Lots of good minerals and fun to carry around. :)

It sounds like EVERYBODY had a fun trip. Maybe we'll go another year.
