Yep, they slept on the trampoline last night! BRRRRRR! It probably was about 40-45 degrees overnight and Linnaea came in at midnight to sleep in her warm bed. Daddy and the older 2 toughed it out though and have great memories of waking up every hour or so listening to the sounds of the night! They'll sleep good tonight! :)

Last night the 3 younger children, a friend of mine, and I walked down to the lake that borders the property. It is down a path through the woods (about 1/8 of a mile). It's a beautiful walk and the path is even wide enough to drive a vehicle down (when it's not too muddy). Since there have been a number of bear sightings this year in the area, the men decided that I should pack some protection (just in case). We praise the Lord that the only "danger" we were in were a pair of birds that thought we were getting too close to the nest that must have been in the weeds by the shore. The 2 babies were swimming quite close for a while and checking us out until about 20 minutes later when the parents came home! I thought the momma and daddy were going to "drop their bombs" on us when they flew so close to our heads. The girls found some eggshells down there a couple of weeks ago that may have been from these birds. It was a fun time and a great way to end a fun day.
Thank you for all of you who prayed for the trailer to sell!!!! It sold today and we are praising the Lord that we got the amount that we were asking (the only catch is that we have to pay to have it moved to the buyer's property). Hallelujah!! On the way home I stopped at Home Depot to dream about appliances and cabinets...what a blessing to have the fun of looking forward to things like new refrigerators and sinks with no scratches. :) I only walked out with a box of drywall nails, so appliances are still a little way down the road yet.
Well, gotta get baths finished up and journal time done to get to bed earlier for church tomorrow. Have a great day!
