Happy Birthday, Nay Nay!

We had an early supper when Daddy got home from work (hotdogs and s'mores) and then a scavenger hunt. I'm starting out pretty easy with the kiddos when they ask for a scavenger hunt but as they get older, the clues will need a little more thinking power. For now, most of them just say the name of the next clue. A few had a little thought needed and it was just right for Linnaea. She is doing very well in her reading skills and read many of the clues by herself (even with my fast scribbling to get it done in the morning).
Her presents were in a bag in the dryer and she brought them outside to unwrap them. The dragonfly blanket was our special gift to her. It's a great size to use for many years and it helps me think through Garratt's and Weston's Birthdays this year. :)
Linnaea especially enjoyed the cash she received from her Nana (in Montana) and her big brother!
The cake turned out just the way Nay Nay had "ordered" it. It made me breathe a sigh of relief too because her color choices really ended up working out quite well together! Wow!!! Linnaea, you are a beautiful young lady and I pray that your heart will stay tender toward others and the things of the Lord. May you grow up to be a mighty woman of God!! I Love You, baby girl!
