Wow! It's hard to believe they're gone! They were frozen first (on Nov. 25) and when that didn't look like it was going to leave minimal scarring, they were cut out (on Dec. 15). The hardest part was not smiling for 48 hours while the stitches worked their magic. After seeing them on my face for as long as I can remember, it is so much fun to be looking at the possibilities of wearing makeup. I feel like a teenager ready to pick out makeup for the first time! Not having to steer around the islands will make it easier to "paint the barn". :)
