With all of the snow that was waiting for us when we got home, we took a spin out on the pond with Poppy's snowmobile (they call 'em snow-machines up here). The lake wasn't frozen enough for our liking, so we went on the pond and each of the older 3 kiddos even got to take a turn at the controls. Thanks Poppy!
Yep, the flooring is going in and Don is doing a beautiful job with it! It looks fantastic. No more pinkish/purplish floors! It's called Tuscan Stone and Home Depot carries it....It's a beautiful pattern, hides every kind of dirt/spill/and dust bunny that you could imagine, and it was paid for when we first started the addition, so I've already forgotten what a splurge it was! Amnesia is good for SOME things!
The kiddos made some hard tack during the week of Thanksgiving to give us a little picture of what the pilgrims went through on the Mayflower. Don said that it would make a good weapon if you got tired of trying to bite through it!
